While he appeared as Hans Dietrich in the show The Rat Patrol and as the stoic John Jacob Astor IV in James Cameron’s Titanic, his wife of 53 years, Dale Russell Gudegast is also famous in her own right, having starred in the movie Holiday in the Sun. The couple now live in Los Angeles, are still much in-love, and have a son named Christian, who is a Hollywood screenwriter.
