Clodagh Rodgers, Born in 1947
Clodagh Rodgers is a Northern Irish actress and singer who has delivered hits like ‘Jack in the Box,’ ‘Come Back and Shake Me,’ and ‘Goodnight Midnight.’ She actually began singing when she was just 13, when she opened for the great Michael Holiday.
Her television debut came early on, when she starred on the Adam Faith Show, and also signed up with Columbia. After doing the rounds of plenty of variety shows, Rodgers would star in stage productions, and also represented UK in the 1970 Eurovision Song Contest. She retired from showbiz in 2015 when she turned 68.
