Julie Christie is one of the most acclaimed British actresses in film history. She has won many awards, including the BAFTA, Golden Globes, Screen Actors Guild, and the Academy Awards. Her most memorable award is probably the Oscar she won for starring in one of the top grossing films of all time, Dr. Zhivago. Christie was only 25 when she starred in the very famous film, and she went on to star in other critically-acclaimed movies, such as Fahrenheit 451, Far from the Madding Crowd, Afterglow, and Away from Her.
