The 73-year-old English actress Dame Helen Mirren’s acting career is to be envied, besides her incredible figure, unexpected for someone her age, that is. Her career started in 1966 with the Royal Shakespeare Company, which producer some fine theatre gems. That was more than 50 years ago, but the actress’ career is far from over, in fact it is more active today. She is known for films like The Madness of King George, Gosford Park, and The Queen. The actress and her director husband, Taylor Hackford, call many places their home, as they own multiple properties, one being this New Orleans house. Mirren said in the past that whenever she is in Los Angeles or London, it’s her simple bungalow house in New Orleans that she misses the most. The couple’s gorgeous Creole cottage is located on Barracks Street.
