Lynda Carter may be happily married today, but like other Hollywood stars, she also experienced a troublesome marriage that ended in divorce. Carter met talent agent Ron Samuels while she was starring in and as Wonder Woman. She admitted to falling in love quickly with Samuels, and although she agreed to marry him, she had cold feet a day before the wedding. The actress went through with the wedding but felt unhappy because of Samuels’ manipulative nature. Carter admitted to feeling suffocated and feeling ‘caged’ during the marriage. When she had the chance to take a trip alone, she decided she wanted to leave Samuels and left him a note that would never come back.
