Alan Rickman – CANCER
The death of Alan Rickman, the beloved British actor kicked off 2016. This was a year in which the small island lost many of it’s most iconic, beloved or well known stars. Despite a long acting history, most younger people know Alan from the Harry Potter films, as Severus Snape. Rickman suffered a minor stroke which then led to doctors finding the actor had pancreatic cancer. This disease took Alan from us far too early at just 69.
