Celebrities Who Were Once Homeless But Now Have Million-Dollar Homes
Kurt Cobain: ~ $2.8 Million, Seattle
Nirvana front man Kurt Cobain experienced homelessness when he was a struggling musician – he used to sleep in the waiting rooms of hospitals and under a bridge in his native Aberdeen. Sadly the grunge icon took his own life in 1994 in the house he shared with his wife, actress-singer Courtney Love, and his baby daughter Frances Bean. Little is known if Cobain left insurance that could benefit the family he left behind, but reports say his music still earns his daughter money today. The million dollar home he died in was sold in 1997.
