These Child Stars Are All Grown Up Now
Karen Dotrice – retired from acting
Although Karen Dotrice appeared in films and televisions shows as a grown up, her most famous role to date is Jane Banks, one of the lead children in Walt Disney’s 1964 hit movie, Mary Poppins. Dotrice’s last acting job was the stage play Othello, for which she received bad reviews for playing Desdemona. She quit acting after that and chose to concentrate on raising her children. She was named a Disney Legend in 2004, and it was the ceremony for her induction was which made her make a public appearance after nearly two decades.
