Marilyn Monroe, died at Age 36 – Brentwood, ~ $7.25 million
After blonde bombshell movie star Monroe ended her marriage with playwright Arthur Miller, she bought this Spanish Revival home in 1962. She personally shopped in Mexico City and Tijuana to decorate her house, which came with 2 bedrooms and a small guesthouse. Now, the renovated 23,200 square foot home comes as a 4-bedroom, 3-bathroom home with its own citrus grove and was listed in 2017 for $6.9 million, but sold for more, at $7.25 million.
After Monroe’s death, the house was at some point sold to actress Veronica Hamel, who alleges that she found bugging and surveillance equipment hidden in the roofs and walls of the house. Conspiracy theorists say that the house was bugged in secret when there were rumors that Marilyn was involved with Robert Kennedy or JFK!
