Now he is a famous game show host, as the baton has been passed on to him to host the long-running game show The Price is Right. But did you know that the comedian joined the United States Marine Corps Reserve, and that he served for six years? It was while in the Marines that Carey realized he could make money out of his jokes. Even if he is a famous celebrity now, Carey has teamed up with the United States Marine Corps Reserve, so that he could visit different military bases in Iraq to perform stand-up comedy for the U.S. troops stationed there.
