Looking at the charming and affable game show host Pat Sajak, you wouldn’t think he had a tough military background at all. But the host of the long-running game show Wheel of Fortune, really served the country at one point in his young life. As if America needed one more reason to love him! It was in 1968 when Sajak joined the army, and his educational background and great voice, he was placed in the Armed Forces Radio division, where he served as a radio jockey, of course! Before becoming the famous host of Wheel of Fortune, Sajak spent 18 months in Vietnam.
