A lot of people know him as Mr. T, but in real life he has a full name, which is Laurence Tureaud. It is the same name he used when he joined the military and served with the Military Police Corps. If you doubt that Mr. T in real life is as hard-core as his A-Team character Sergeant Bosco Baracus, then here is a story for you. Once during his army life, Mr. T’s platoon sergeant punished him and ordered him to cut down trees using his bare hands. Being a good military man, the actor indeed used his ‘bear hands’ and followed the orders, and by the time he was asked to stop, he had already cut down a whopping 70 trees! Some of his career highlights were being awarded Top Trainee of the Cycle and his promotion as Squad Leader.
