Doris Day was a beloved legend from Hollywood’s Golden Age with timeless performances in movies like Romance on the High Seas, The Man Who Knew Too Much, and many more to her credit, as well as her own self-titled sitcom on CBS, The Doris Day Show. She passed away on the 13th of May, 2019, at the age of 97. She had lived in relative peace and quiet while in senior care in her beloved town of Carmel-by-the-sea. She still lived in her beautiful home overlooking the ocean at the time of her death. She also used to run an inn in the same town called the Cypress Inn. Her death saddened her fans, though at 97 years old, we doubt many were surprised.
