Don was known as the gentle giant of US country music. The singer had a string of number 1 country hits during his lengthy career. Famous and favorite songs include ‘Tulsa Time’ and ‘It Must Be Love’. Don inspired a generation of singers who followed him and though he retired in 2016, he was paid many a tribute by other singers. Don died from Emphysema in September 2017.
