Alice Playten – HEART FAILURE/ PANCREATIC CANCER/ DIABETES
Playten was an American actress and singer who has been dubbed Obie one, since she won the Obie Award for Distinguished Performance in National Lampoon’s Lemmings. She also did a lot of voice acting, with parts in Heavy Metal and My Little Pony: The Movie, among others. She passed away at the Sloan-Kettering Hospital in New York City due to heart failure. Before this she had suffered from a lifetime of juvenile diabetes which had been complicated by pancreatic cancer.
