Women March for the Right for Suffrage
Back then, women do not have the right of suffrage or not allowed to vote, and so women suffragists marched in 1913 to fight for their rights along Pennsylvania Avenue. Some were walking, while others are on horses, and placed themselves in-front of the US Capitol. Many other marches followed this event, until the government gave in and passed the 19th amendment allowing all American women to vote. Some other equal opportunities were granted to women after that, including taking on jobs usually handled by men in the fields of insurance, loans, and other occupations.
