A Woman Photographer On Top of the Chrysler Building
Photographer Margaret Bourke-White’s well-known specialty is in architecture and industry. She is atop the Chrysler building because of two things – she is taking pictures of other buildings in New York, and because her photography studio or office is in the Chrysler building. She is probably the most celebrated woman photographer, with her photo appearing on the first ever issue of Life magazine. Her original works may be worth a lot of money now, especially the historic ones she took of the horrors of Nazi concentration camps after the war ended.
