Alan Rickman – Died January 14, 2016
Most people today would remember Alan Rickman for his role as the villainous Professor Snape in the Harry Potter series of movies. Besides that role, however, he’s had a long and illustrious career, starring in Die Hard, Love Actually, and countless other films. He’s been widely recognized as one of the best character actors of all time. In 2015, Alan had a minor stroke and was later found to be suffering from terminal pancreatic cancer. He kept the diagnosis secret from the public so his death was a real shock. In this last photograph taken of Alan, his visible weight loss is the only clue to his disease.
