The Most Unforgettable Stars of Western TV and Movies

Eve Prescott, How the West Was Won

Portrayed by Carroll Baker

MGM was the biggest movie studio during the Golden Age of Hollywood, as it was known for creating epic films like Ben Hur and Gone with the Wind. Before it filed for bankruptcy in the 1970s, one of the last epics it brought to us was the Western film How the West Was Won, which starred Hollywood greats like John Wayne, James Stewart, Gregory Peck, and Debbie Reynolds.  One memorable character in the epic was that of Eve Prescott, the love interest of James Stewart, who was played by actress Caroll Baker, who’s now 87 years old today.  We bet Baker has adorable memories of Jimmy Stewart and the rest of the team.
