Before there came a Julia Roberts in Hollywood, there was Doris Day first, the original ‘America’s Sweetheart of Hollywood.’ Like Roberts, Day also had a magnetic smile and her films also were huge hits at the box office. But Day has an edge, she had an incredible singing voice that allowed her to record some of the most memorable songs in history, such as A Secret Love and Que Sera Sera. The legend passed away at the ripe age of 97 in 2019, but her last screen appearance was on her own show, The Doris Day Show. After the show ended, the actress chose to retire from acting completely.
