Reports claim Hudson had many lovers during his lifetime, but one of most famous was Marc Christian. However, the actor made it a point to not indulge in PDA when together in public, hence they spent most of their days together in The Castle. Christian would soon be known as the actor’s ex-lover, who sued his estate after his death, claiming ‘intentional infliction of emotional distress’, after Hudson informed the public that he had AIDS. Christian claimed the actor continually had intimate relationship with him despite knowing he had the disease. Although Christian tested HIV negative repeatedly, he won the lawsuit and was awarded $21.75 million in damages, but the court later reduced it to $5 million.
