As the King of Rock n Roll, Elvis became a phenomenon who had millions of fans. Even if he did not tour or performed outside of North America, he had many fans around the world. Having loads of fans meant Elvis had to interact with them, receiving their hugs and kisses, and shaking their hands. It would probably surprise many that the King had a great fear of germs, as revealed by his ex-wife Priscilla. She said that Elvis was not comfortable eating in the homes of other people, but in case he had to, he always brought his own silverware and would drink from part of the mugs or cups where the handle was located because it was the part he was sure no one drank from.
