Natalie Cole – CONGESTIVE HEART FAILURE
Natalie Cole had big boots to fill and great expectations to meet when she decided to embark on a musical career. That’s because she was the daughter of jazz pianist and singer Nat King Cole. She was able to make a name for herself with her many albums, stage performances and musical collaborations, earning her 21 Grammy nominations and 9 wins. Natalie had an issue with drug addiction early on, but what caused her demise in 2016 was congestive heart failure, which may have had something to do with her 2009 kidney transplant. She lived to be 65.
