Philip Seymour Hoffman – ACCIDENTAL DRUG OVERDOSE
Widely regarded as one of the greatest actors of his generation, actor and director Philip Seymour Hoffman has been in so many of our favorite movies. He had the knack of drawing everyone’s attention to him with his performances in Scent of a Woman, Capote, Charlie Wilson’s War and The Master. Hoffman was open about his drug addiction from a very early age, and relapsed in 2013 after abstaining for many years. Just a year after his relapse, in 2014, he was found dead at his New York apartment, and the coroner’s report stated that he had a cocktail of drugs in his system at the time of his death.
