Marion Ross, Born in 1928

Veteran actress Marion Ross is best remembered for the television sitcom Happy Days, where she played Marion Cunningham aka Mrs. C, mother Ron Howard’s character, Richie Cunningham. But before the famous actress snatched the role she played for 10 years, she already appeared in memorable films like The Glenn Miller Story, Sabrina, and Teacher’s Pet. Not to mention her debut film Forever Female, where she starred alongside Hollywood greats William Holden and Ginger Rogers. After Happy Days aired its final season, Ross starred in The Evening Star, a role that earned her a Golden Globe nomination for Best Supporting Actress.
