Leonard Nimoy
Even though a fire accident apparently destroyed the personal records of actor Leonard Nimoy in the military, he still has some photos, experiences to share, and his old pals he served with in the military, which can all serve as proof of his employment from 1953 to 1955. Before becoming an actor and playing his most famous role of Mr. Spock, the first officer of the starship Enterprise, in the Star Trek TV and film series, Nimoy joined the U.S. Army Reserve at Fort McPherson at age 22. Before being honorably discharged, Nimoy reached the rank of sergeant. He also apparently put on shows for the troops while in service, further proof that he was truly meant to be an actor.
