Ginger Rogers – Hotel
When you hear the name of Ginger Rogers, it’s hard not to think of the name of Fred Astaire, too, as the two were almost inseparable at the peak of their careers. Gingers performed in so many RKO musical films with Astaire, and she’s remembered because of her acting, dancing, and singing prowess. The actress only made occasional appearances on television from the 1950s and onwards. When other seniors in her age group were already in nursing homes, Rogers was still making guest appearances on television series produced by Aaron Spelling, such as The Love Boat and Glitter. She was last seen in another Spelling-created show, Hotel, in 1987. She died at her Rancho Mirage home in 1995, when she was 83 years old.
