Before the Last Curtain Call- See The Last On-Screen Performances from Hollywood Greats Before they Died

Anthony Perkins – In the Deep Woods

Who wouldn’t recognize Anthony Perkins?  He is especially familiar to fans of horror films, because he appeared in one of the most unforgettable horror classics by Alfred Hitchcock, Psycho.  The film gave way to many other slasher film classics, often trying to follow the chilling portrayal of Perkins of homicide Bates Hotel owner Norman Bates.  Because he gained international fame with Psycho, Perkins performed in stage plays and made films in other countries, most of them in Europe.  Perkins’ last screen appearance was in the film In the Deep Woods with Rosanna Arquette, but sadly he was not able to see the film in cinemas, as he died shortly after the film was released, due to HIV related pneumonia in 1992.
